Example calculations for the Smappee EV Wall Home
Charging time and price at 0.45 CHF/kWh, calculated with Ladehase's tariff engine. The final amount is rounded to 5 centimes.
| Energy charged | Time at 22 kW | Time at 11 kW | Amount at 0.45 CHF/kWh |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10.0 kWh | 27 min | 55 min | CHF 4.50 |
| 20.0 kWh | 55 min | 1 h 49 min | CHF 9.00 |

Requirements
What you need so that guests can pay with the Smappee EV Wall Home.
- Internet
- The Smappee EV Wall Home needs a stable connection at the parking space via Wi-Fi or LAN. Check the reception in the garage before you start.
- Authorisation
- The Smappee EV Wall Home is connected to Ladehase via OCPP and only starts a charge after authorisation. The station is then tied to Ladehase rather than to another backend.
- Payment account
- An account with zahls.ch or Freika, where payments arrive directly. For the PAX IM30 terminal you need Freika.
- Metering
- Ladehase bills with the charging station's meter readings. If you need certified values, plan for a separate MID meter.
- Sign
- QR code and tariff clearly visible at the charge point, as a PDF to print yourself or ordered weatherproof.
