Terms of use for drivers

What applies when you charge and pay at a charging station with Ladehase.

As of: 25 October 2026

The German version is binding. Translations are provided for convenience.

1. What this is about

These terms apply when you charge at a charging station whose operator uses Ladehase and you pay via the payment page or a terminal. Ladehase is a service of siebenberge gmbh, Toggenburgerstrasse 29, CH-9652 Neu St. Johann.

2. Who your contracting party is

You buy the charge from the operator of the charging station. They set the tariff, are responsible for the station and are your contact for questions and complaints. Their contact details are on the payment page and on the receipt.

Ladehase is the operator's technical service provider. We provide the payment page, release the charging station after payment, record the energy and create the receipt. We do not sell energy.

3. Price

Before payment, the payment page or terminal shows the complete tariff: price per kWh, any start fee, service fee, idle fee, time windows and maximum amount. All prices include VAT if the operator is subject to VAT. The final amount is rounded to 5 Rappen.

4. Reservation and capture

  • Reservation: you choose an amount that is reserved on your payment method. After charging only the actual amount is captured and the rest is released. When the running amount reaches the reservation minus a small safety margin, charging stops.
  • Package: you pay a package in advance, for example a certain amount of energy or credit. Charging stops when it is used up. Whether unused credit is refunded or forfeited is shown on the payment page before payment.

How long a released reservation remains visible on your account depends on your bank or card issuer.

5. Payment

Payment is processed by zahls.ch or Freika, the operator's payment partners. Their terms also apply. Depending on the location, TWINT, Visa, Mastercard, PF Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted. Card data is processed exclusively by the payment partner, Ladehase never sees it.

6. Your obligations

  • Use the charging station properly and only with a suitable vehicle and cable.
  • Follow the information on the sign and the payment page, in particular regarding idle time.
  • Free the charge point after charging. An idle fee according to the tariff may apply after charging has ended.

7. Faults and cancellation

If charging does not start within the time shown after payment, the reservation expires and nothing is charged. If charging stops because of a fault, only the energy charged until then is billed according to the tariff. You can end charging at any time on the payment page or by unplugging the cable.

8. Receipt

If you enter an email address, you receive the receipt by email. It shows the operator, time, energy, tariff, all fees and, where applicable, the VAT share. You can also download it via the link on the payment page.

9. Complaints and refunds

Contact the operator with questions about the amount. They can issue refunds. For technical problems with the payment page, Ladehase support helps at support@ladehase.com.

10. Liability

The operator is responsible for the charging station, the power supply and damage to the vehicle, in accordance with the law. Ladehase is liable only for intent and gross negligence, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Data protection

How we process your data is described in the privacy policy. We process it on behalf of the operator and only as far as needed for charging, payment and receipt.

12. Applicable law

Swiss law applies. Mandatory consumer protection provisions remain reserved. In case of discrepancies between language versions, the German version prevails.
