Easee websiteHow paying with the Easee One works
Guests need no app, no charging card and no account. This is how a charge works.
You set it up once: connect the charging station, set the tariff, put up the sign. Allow about ten minutes.
Step-by-step setup with Easee- 1
Scan the QR code
The smartphone camera is enough. The payment page shows this charge point's tariff in the browser's language.
- 2
Reserve an amount
Guests choose an amount or a package and pay with TWINT, Visa, Mastercard, PF Pay, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
- 3
The station is released
Until payment, the Easee One stays locked. Then Ladehase releases the charge via the Easee cloud: plug in the cable and charging starts.
- 4
Follow it live
Energy and amount update live in the browser. If the charge reaches the reservation, Ladehase stops it in time.
- 5
Unplug, get the receipt
Only the energy charged is billed, and the rest of the reservation is released straight away. The receipt arrives by email on request.
If there is a PAX IM30 terminal at the station, guests pay there by card or smartphone, even without internet on their own phone.
Example calculations for the Easee One
Charging time and price at 0.45 CHF/kWh, calculated with Ladehase's tariff engine. The final amount is rounded to 5 centimes.
| Energy charged | Time at 7.4 kW | Amount at 0.45 CHF/kWh |
|---|---|---|
| 10.0 kWh | 1 h 21 min | CHF 4.50 |
| 20.0 kWh | 2 h 42 min | CHF 9.00 |
| 40.0 kWh | 5 h 24 min | CHF 18.00 |
Charging power also depends on the car: many electric cars charge on AC at 11 kW at most, some much less on a single phase. Charging losses are not included.
With an idle fee
Example: 20 kWh at 7.4 kW, then the car stays at the charge point for 3 h. From 1 h after charging ends, every started minute costs 5 centimes.
Amount: CHF 15.00, of which idle fee CHF 6.00
Your own tariff
Start fee, idle time, a different price per kWh or many charges a month: work out your case in the charging cost calculator.
Requirements
What you need so that guests can pay with the Easee One.
- Internet
- The Easee One has a built-in mobile connection and stays online even without Wi-Fi. You can also connect it to Wi-Fi.
- Authorisation
- Ladehase sets the Easee One to «Authorisation required» via the Easee cloud. Charging without payment or an access grant is then no longer possible.
- Payment account
- An account with zahls.ch or Freika, where payments arrive directly. For the PAX IM30 terminal you need Freika.
- Metering
- Ladehase bills with the charging station's meter readings. If you need certified values, plan for a separate MID meter.
- Sign
- QR code and tariff clearly visible at the charge point, as a PDF to print yourself or ordered weatherproof.
