Tesla Wall Connector Gen 3: no QR code payment possible
The Wall Connector Gen 3 charges at up to 22 kW through a tethered cable and connects over Wi-Fi. However, Tesla documents neither OCPP nor an interface that lets third parties lock and release a charge. Without that lock, Ladehase cannot ensure fair payment.

Tesla Wall Connector websiteWhy paying with the Tesla Wall Connector Gen 3 does not work
For guests to pay fairly, Ladehase must be able to lock the charging station and release it only after payment. The Tesla Wall Connector Gen 3 lacks:
- OCPP, the open protocol Ladehase uses to control most charging stations.
- An open manufacturer interface that lets third parties release charges.
- A lock until authorisation that can be set remotely.
